Oxford isn't good enough for the walking team.

Re: Grady Diangana
And he’s clicked straight away with the senior players around him who are not afraid to give him the ball! Some excellent play in and around the box on Saturday, he’s already a good player for us I think he’s going to be a real diamond!

Re: Grady Diangana
He is looking very very good so far.
He beats people which is something we have missed for a long time and runs his arse off.

As others have said that pass when he must have known he'd known he's get battered shows he has a cool head.

well said auckland, i couldn't agree with you more.

Re: Grady Diangana
The best thing for me about his game on Saturday was that he took an absolute kicking, and still got back up and kept roasting their fullback.

He lost the ball on the odd occasion, but as others have said, he then worked hard to win it back.

If we had 5 or 6 other players who had that desire and commitment every week, we'd be fine.

Re: Grady Diangana
Its a funny thing aint it. This lad has been with the club since 2012 but I hadnt heard of him before his debut. I have heard lots about other players (most recently Holland, who did a bit of pre season and Coventry) but often you dont even see them before they disappear. Anyway, im not going to complain. Its always a joy to see a youngster come through.

what's even better is Exwhuemployee reckons nathan holland is even better than Grady

Grady and Rice have really shown oxford how to take your opportunities and demonstrated the right attitude

Great game by the lad, have we sorted contracts for him and Rice?

Re: Grady Diangana
He reminds me of Devo/Stuart Slater the quick burst of pace that enables him to glide past defenders. Can also go left or right which will always put doubt in the full backs mind. The speed of thought to set up Anderson was superb

zico 10:10 Mon Nov 5
Re: Grady Diangana
What I like about him is that he tries things in the right areas rather than trying flicks etc in his own half, and if it doesn't come off he will battle to get it back. That was my annoyance with Anderson prior to Sunday is that he didn't work hard enough to get back after losing it, but to be fair he also had a great game Saturday. Re Grady though nice to see a youngster have a go plus he got up after being chopped in half!!!!

Rossal 9:51 Mon Nov 5
Re: Grady Diangana
Very impresssed with him. So positive when he gets the ball, always looking to square up the full back and go at them. Fantastic. Has great pace and balance, sends defenders off balance very easy and moves the ball quick. Has been a revelation. Only criticism is to back himself to shoot more. But he is one of first names on teamsheet at the moment.

Re: Grady Diangana
He absolutely deserves his place in the team right now, playing well, good vision and awareness, loves taking players on. Yes he will make mistakes and lose possession, he's young and is still learning, but it's great to see a young player giving it his all and earning his place. Needs to work on his fitness a bit and strength, but I'm sure that will come as the seasons wears on. great start so far and an example to all the Academy lads about taking you chance when it comes.

"The boy Oxford" done well on Saturday as Derby u-23s won 2-0 at Dagenham's ground.
He scored a headed own goal in the first half.( looked deliberate to me), then let a Derby forward through with a weak tackle in the second half leading directly to their second goal.
He's not really earning his 20 grand a week wages these days it seems.
